Stem Cell Therapy for RP in Germany

The XCell-Center. in Germany is offering Subretinal Stem Cell Treatment for retinal disorders including Retinitis Pigmentosa. The treatment will involve incorporation of adult stem cells under the retina. The doctors at the Center have stated that the treatment can help in restoring vision by repairing the dead tissue in retina. The treatment seems to be an exciting option. However, whether the treatment works or not will be known only if a patient can give first hand feedback.
I took stem cell therapy in Mexico but did not receive any improvement in vision. However, the treatment I had taken is different from the aforesaid treatment because I took embryonic stem cell dose into my body and not specifically under the retina. I may try the new treatment based on feasibility. Will give you feedback if I do end up trying it out.

Good luck if you plan to try it.
